Rice Krispies

I had to make Rice Krispies bars for school today. I definitely don't make these often. We ended bringing a pan home with us. I was afraid that I was going to end up eating them all because my big kids are gone for the weekend but I think my 18 month old is going to beat me to them all!

I have to tell it's hard to get anything done with an 18 month. He's a climber. Maybe we just need to break down and finally by that gate?

Long time, no chat

Wow... has it been along time since I posted. My life has gotten the better of me. Many, many things have happened since I last posted. Let's start with me. I officially started my endeavor of going back to school. This is my first semester back in the swings of things. So far so good. My eldest is now back to playing baseball, track, but continues to play basketball in his spare! My little girl has stopped ice skating. She is now onto softball. My littlest man is WALKING! Mind you it did take him 16 months to master this skill, but now he won't sit still. He is such a joy to have as part of our family! My husband continues to be the best husband ever! I don't know what I would do without him! What can I say? Life is good!

New

There have been many new happenings around our household. Today my oldest scored a touchdown! Of course it's the only game that I've missed in the past two years... SERIOUSLY! He had such a great game today even got the game ball to bring home. The other great news for him is that he made the A team for basketball again this year. He hadn't picked up a basketball since July so I'm surprised that he still had the skills to be put some pretty good players. I guess he takes after his mom in the area!

My daughter doesn't have too much to report at this time. She can not stop talking about her Dad coming to visit. She is super duper excited! She loves the months of October. She turns 8 years old soon! Can it really go that fast? I still see her as a kindergartner but she is in second grade already.

My little man is crawling everywhere. He hates to be held. He likes to get where he's going all on his own! No signs of walking yet. He does stand up against furniture though!
