New

There have been many new happenings around our household. Today my oldest scored a touchdown! Of course it's the only game that I've missed in the past two years... SERIOUSLY! He had such a great game today even got the game ball to bring home. The other great news for him is that he made the A team for basketball again this year. He hadn't picked up a basketball since July so I'm surprised that he still had the skills to be put some pretty good players. I guess he takes after his mom in the area!

My daughter doesn't have too much to report at this time. She can not stop talking about her Dad coming to visit. She is super duper excited! She loves the months of October. She turns 8 years old soon! Can it really go that fast? I still see her as a kindergartner but she is in second grade already.

My little man is crawling everywhere. He hates to be held. He likes to get where he's going all on his own! No signs of walking yet. He does stand up against furniture though!

Date Night

Yes it does still in exist in my life! I have to say that it's been way too long. My husband and I were able to go see a comedian called Louis CK. OMG HILARIOUS! If you've never heard of him check his website at http://www.louisck.net/. He's what I would call "racey"! He was not at all politically correct but hilarious! My cheeks hurt due to laughing so much! I have to give a shout out to my babysitter (my co-worker) for coming over to watch my three munchkins! I was told by her that my daughter was full of drama before going to bed... so what's new?!?! She's always been my firecracker but you have to love her because she is so darn adorable!

Football

My son had a football game this morning. Unfortunately they lost 22-0. They say it's not about winning, but how you play the game. I have to say he played the game. He had great tackles. He bunted the football. Here is the video of the game. He tells me he plays middle linebacker so maybe you can find him; however you do have to watch the other team score!

TGIF

I'm extremely ecstatic that it's Friday. No work till Monday! That's about all I got to say except time for a beer!

Challenge

My challenge is to post every day for the rest of September. This morning started off with chaos as usual. Trying to get three kids up and ready for the day is always a challenge. My daughter asked me this morning who dumped her belts all over the floor. I told her she must have kicked them off her bed while she was sleeping. She insisted that could NEVER happen!

You know the phrase "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all"? How the heck do you get kids to actually follow that? My older son never has anything nice to say to his sister. He always has some interesting term that I've never heard of to call his sister. Maybe one day they will appreciate each other.

Today my baby boy stood up against the steps and was able to crawl up one step... I guess it's time to purchase that baby gate I've been meaning to do for over a month! Here he is recently trying for that step. I love baby giggles!

WOW

I can't believe how long it's been since my last post! ALOT has been going on... First we moved in June to a beautiful house that we absolutely love! Second the kids have been busy with sports. Let's see we had baseball and softball now we are onto football, ice skating and swimming! And third we now have a ten month old baby! Can you believe he is finally crawling? He even stood up against the gate the babysitter told me today! Oh yah and I decided to go back to school as if I didn't have enough on my plate...

Tired

My baby isn't sleeping so I'm exhausted! I also started a boot camp... starts at 5:30am so that could be adding to the lack of sleep that I feel I'm getting! I'm very proud of myself though for starting this workout! My target weight is only 19 lbs away!

I do have to thank my wonderful husband for helping me do all this... he is so awesome with the children! He's a dream come true! My baby doesn't like me putting him to bed so Dad steps in with his magic touch!

Well I hope you all got some sleep last night!!!!!!

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all you moms out there a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I told my family that I wanted pancakes this morning instead of eggs... I was told in a very nice way that I had to make those on my own, but at least by daughter helped me!

Spring

I love that my Aunt reads all my blog posts! At least I know I have one fan out there! Love you!

It's been an interesting spring so far... besides the weather (if you live in WI you understand), my son has been striking batters out left and right at the ballpark. I'm not sure how he got this wicked arm but he pitches fast and hard! I think he may take after his awesome cousin Eric! However, my kid can't hit the ball. He did finally hit a double after four games. He really needed that pick me up so hopefully he can get that bat swinging!

My daughter continues to be as sassy as ever! I think her and I have a long road ahead of us (PS she's only 7). She is excited about starting softball this summer. Ice skating will start again at the end of this month. She's excited that she is finally in freestyle!

My other little man just had his 6 month check up. He's a whopping 14 lbs 11 oz... I'm being super sarcastic because he is under the 5th percentile! He is rolling over! He is can almost sit up by himself. He blows lots of raspberries! He hates to fall asleep. I really wish he would listen to me when I tell him to stop growing!

Now for the adults... our one year wedding anniversary is coming up!
I'm super excited that my Grams is coming to visit me at the end of May! I think she is superwoman! I hope one day that I can be like her! Love you Grams!

Random

I wish I could have been a creative writer! I'm not much for writing as you call tell on my blog. Most of my blog posts are short and sweet. They are about my adorable children ALL the time! Of course if you look back at all those pictures you would want to talk about them all the time too!

Anyway it's the same old here in this household. We have activity upon activity! Baseball, track, ice skating, piano, basketball, etc... you get the point plus with a new little ones... It's never boring!

Baseball Season

Today was an unusual day for us... we finally have SUNSHINE! It's that time a year again where my now very BIG MAN starts baseball. If you don't already know I loath baseball. Don't get me wrong I love playing the sports (softball) but it's pretty boring sport to watch. I think I've lost my taste for baseball due to my BIG MAN. If you don't know him very well he's an extremely emotional boy. Baseball to him is not a team sport but more individualized. His team could win by ten but he would still come off the field crying because he didn't hit the ball or missed a grounder, etc... so I'm dreading the start of the baseball season. He had tryouts today... I just want to point out that the little league here is about more on who you know rather than ability but I guess what do I know? Ok so that's my rant for today!

On a better note... my LITTLE MAN is getting to big. He weighed in at 13 lbs at the doctor's office last week. I told him to slow down growing up but I don't think he's listening.

Giggles

Here she is competing at state games! She got first in the qualifying but lost in the finals... she got a pin and that's all that matters! She had a lot of fun hanging out with all her skating buddies.

Bath

For the most part he enjoys taking a bath. He kicks his feet causing splashing everywhere! Yes... there are times when he will scream the whole time he is getting cleaned up!

First week

I officially returned to work this past Tuesday. It now feels like I never left. At times it feels great to be back because I work with some of the most wonderful people... however I do miss my little man but I know he's in great hands! Not only was it my first week back to work but my husband had to travel on business two out of the four days I was back. Yes... I survived BUT it made me realize how much HELP my husband really is not that I didn't know that already but it helps to be reminded sometimes! Honey... THANKS for all you do for us!

Star Wars

Here is a recent pic of our little man! He is wearing a Star Wars shirt... "May the force be with you". He is officially 11 weeks tomorrow. I can't believe I have to go back to work next week :-( I have a wonderful person though that will be taking over his care during the day so that makes going back to work "slightly" easier!
