Badger State Games

Here is my daughter at the Badger State Games! She competed in the figure skating competition.She received an 11th out of 12th but we had a blast!  It was worth every penny :-)

Why

Why do we live in this crazy state called Wisconsin?  Did you know that the temp was below zero with wind chills in extreme negatives?  I took my daughter to ice skating practice on Thursday night.  When we left it was negative 10 degrees.  Arriving at home an hour and half later the temp was negative 14 degrees.  Talk about insanity...  Finally today the temp is "reasonable".

My son had a basketball game this morning.  This was a school event NOT the club basketball.  He scored around 10 points.  He was had two fast breaks... I was watching the from the stands hoping that he would be able to dribble all the way down the court!  He surprised me by making both layups.  His team lost by 5 points.

My daughter is learning to play the Wii.  She's been playing the Disney Princess game that she got for Christmas.  It's a rather easy game but for her it's perfect!  She is also obsessed about changing her "nose" on her Mii character...

Long time

I just realized it's been a long time since I've posted.  We had a great time with family during the holiday season.  I know one thing that my son really enjoyed was going skiing for the first time.  He sends a big thanks to his aunt and uncle for taking him.  You know who you are!  

A's favorite christmas present was his Nintendo Wii.  I think the computer came in a close second.  M's favorite present was her brand new skating bag.   She said the computer also came in at a close second.  Thanks for the computer Dad!

The first week back to school has been very hectic.  The kids had an activity every day this week.  We watched three games of basketball yesterday.  We get to watch two more this evening.  Here are some pictures from yesterdays' game.  I'm working on my camera.  I haven't been impressed with the pictures it's taken thus far.
