Adorable

Isn't this an adorable picture of my daughter?

No teeth

Yes! She has no front teeth what-so-ever. I've been told by the dentist that her front teeth should be "popping" through anytime now. I hate to say this but the dentist said that she has five cavities... AND YES she does brush her teeth twice a day. He thinks she may be more susceptible to cavities plus she had one cavity back in June that she wouldn't let the dentist fix. Well we are going to start with fixing two small ones to see if she will cooperate this time around.

Cold

It's that time of year again to get all bundled up... we are talking negative degree weather. I don't try to go out if we don't have to but here he is all bundled up!

Basketball Tournament

He played three great games this past weekend! Yes, basketball season is underway! Have I mentioned that he has his mother's skills?!?! :-P

B-day

Her B-day was almost a month ago! I can't believe my little girl is 7 years old. Boy... does the time fly! Anyway she got to take one of her friends to go play miniature golf! They had a blast!!!

Newest Addition

Here is the newest addition to our family... the kids are excited about having a little brother :-) Their brother, Luke, arrived on 11/3/09. Weighing in at 6 lbs 15 0z.

Football

So I'm thinking in this picture the coach is getting on him about something... I don't think he likes to hear it though! This season hasn't been the greatest for the team. However, big A has been doing well. He's been playing both offense and defense. One game he was even snapping the ball. I've been told he can hold his own out there against the "big" kids. He only has two more games left before the football season is officially over. He already had try outs for basketball last weekend. Wish him luck on making the "A Team" again this year!

School Days

Well we're back into the swing of things over here! I can't believe I have a fifth and first grader!

Can't get enough baseball!

We can't get enough baseball around these parts... He's playing the extended season. The last game he pitched... it was three up and three down :-) I think his nickname should be "the rocket"!! :-P But he likes "The Express"!!

He has had a tough time batting over the season. Quite a few strike outs. Unfortunately he takes his baseball performance way to seriously. He has come home crying a few times due to those strike outs. We've had to remind him numerous times it's just for fun! However the last game of the regular season he hit the ball so far he got an in the park home run :-)

Last day of school

Well my baby has officially graduated kindergarten today! Can you believe how she has grown up? Here's part of the graduation ceremony. If you can't tell she is the one on the right... she speaks first!

America's Favorite Past Time

Welcome to Little League! Today was opening day... WOW do they make it a BIG deal around these parts! Although he suffered his first lost, the team looked pretty good. Can you believe he pitched the first two innings? Boy... does he have an arm! He also played left center field and short stop. His first time up to bat he cranked it but struck out the next two.

Zoo

Yesterday was a beautiful day here in Wisconsin! The kids and I went to the zoo. Ironically there were tons of kids from their school that had the same idea that we did... They had tons of fun!

Break

The kids and I get to hang around the house all week! That's right... I don't have to work the whole week! I'm so excited. We started our first day off by rearranging A's room. It's nice and clean. I'm sure it will only make it a day clean but at least I feel I accomplished something today. M has her doctor appointment. Just a check up. Tomorrow I think we will head to the zoo. I've been told it's suppose to be around 70 degrees here in Wisconsin!

Well A has one more basketball tournament in Appleton at the end of March then he will be officially done. He had try outs, however, already for baseball. That will be starting soon. There is never a break in between.

Well I think we are going to take the dogs for a walk right now. I hope everyone has a great Monday!

She's trying to play basketball.  She doesn't enjoy this as much as skating but at least I got her to try another activity!

Badger State Games

Here is my daughter at the Badger State Games! She competed in the figure skating competition.She received an 11th out of 12th but we had a blast!  It was worth every penny :-)

Why

Why do we live in this crazy state called Wisconsin?  Did you know that the temp was below zero with wind chills in extreme negatives?  I took my daughter to ice skating practice on Thursday night.  When we left it was negative 10 degrees.  Arriving at home an hour and half later the temp was negative 14 degrees.  Talk about insanity...  Finally today the temp is "reasonable".

My son had a basketball game this morning.  This was a school event NOT the club basketball.  He scored around 10 points.  He was had two fast breaks... I was watching the from the stands hoping that he would be able to dribble all the way down the court!  He surprised me by making both layups.  His team lost by 5 points.

My daughter is learning to play the Wii.  She's been playing the Disney Princess game that she got for Christmas.  It's a rather easy game but for her it's perfect!  She is also obsessed about changing her "nose" on her Mii character...

Long time

I just realized it's been a long time since I've posted.  We had a great time with family during the holiday season.  I know one thing that my son really enjoyed was going skiing for the first time.  He sends a big thanks to his aunt and uncle for taking him.  You know who you are!  

A's favorite christmas present was his Nintendo Wii.  I think the computer came in a close second.  M's favorite present was her brand new skating bag.   She said the computer also came in at a close second.  Thanks for the computer Dad!

The first week back to school has been very hectic.  The kids had an activity every day this week.  We watched three games of basketball yesterday.  We get to watch two more this evening.  Here are some pictures from yesterdays' game.  I'm working on my camera.  I haven't been impressed with the pictures it's taken thus far.
